What is liquidation inventory — returns, overstock, and end-of-life
Where pallet lots come from, why the mix varies, and how unsaleable product is recycled or donated when partners allow it.
Liquidation inventory is merchandise that left the primary retail path — customer returns, overstock, and end-of-life product from retailers and manufacturers. For more than 10 years, Pallets Stock Room has sourced those lots and listed them as wholesale pallets.
The three streams we see most
- Customer returns — goods that came back through retail. Mix of sealed, opened, incomplete, and worn is expected.
- Overstock — surplus that did not sell in the original channel. Often cleaner, still sold by the pallet.
- End-of-life — discontinued or season-end product. Condition still depends on the grade on the listing.
What cannot sell still has to leave correctly
We work with partners so product that is not suitable for sale is recycled, donated, or otherwise disposed of properly whenever possible. That keeps usable goods in the market and out of landfill — and it is why a returns pallet is graded as returns, not dressed up as factory-new.
